Lee Child fans – have we got good news for you!

Jack Reacher, lone wolf, knight errant, ex military cop, lover of women, scourge of the wicked and righter of wrongs, has become the most iconic hero for our age. After the recent publication of the twenty-first brilliant Jack Reacher thriller Night School, Transworld has announced that No Middle Name: the Complete Jack Reacher Short Stories will publish on 1 June 2017. This is the first time all Lee Child’s shorter fiction featuring Jack Reacher has been collected into one volume.

A brand new novella, Too Much Time, will be included, as well as the five Reacher novellas previously only available in ebook form: Second Son, Deep Down, High Heat, Not a Drill and Small Wars. The collection will be completed by all the other Reacher short stories that Lee Child has written.

No Middle Name: the Complete Jack Reacher Short Stories will give us a much needed dose of Jack Reacher while we wait for the twenty-second novel in the series, The Midnight Line, to publish in autumn 2017.

    This is one writer who has created one hero who is mortal like the rest of us. Jack Reacher is one man I can never tire off and I’d want him in my corner when the chips are down. His creator writes consistently brilliant books, and he’s one writer that I always look forward to. Although his earlier Reachers are punchier, the stories are still better than from similar writers. Keep ’em coming Mr Child, and we’ll keep reading them! Thank you, Sir, for Jack Reacher!
