Changing Faces: A Time To Kill
If a gaggle of crime authors were to participate in their very own courtroom drama, John Grisham would be the High Court Judge. His fast-paced, whip-smart novels can’t help but be addictive to readers and it’s fair to say he’s revolutionised the modern legal thriller.
Grisham is the author of twenty-five novels, one work of non-fiction, a collection of short stories, and a series of novels for younger readers. Not to mention the films inspired by his works, The Pelican Brief, The Runaway Jury and The Firm (one of my favourites) to name but a few. Next month sees a new novel published – Sycamore Row. It is the sequel to the 1989 novel A Time To Kill which introduced readers to Jake Brigance and inspired the film of the same name with a career altering performance from Matthew McConaughey.
When a book has such an impact it’s common for it to move through several different cover looks over time. With Sycamore Row on the horizon, A Time to Kill has been redesigned so they’ll look beautiful together! Here is a quick snapshot of the changing face of A Time To Kill:
