International Covers: The Snowman

No matter how hard we try, we’re all guilty of judging books by their covers. But it’s amazing how much our perception of a book can be altered by the face it shows the world.

Vintage Books has re-vamped the cover for Jo Nesbo’s The Snowman, and we thought this would be the perfect excuse to pore over all the different covers for the book, comparing the international designs and trying to pick our favourite. The Snowman has been published in 34 different languages, which makes 33 wonderful covers in addition to the UK version.

Below are the 33 international covers. Which is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below!

The Norway cover is by far my favorite. It conveys the grim reality of the contents of the book.It gives me chills. That’s the idea, I imagine!

The qestion is simple… Harry Hole would choose Polish cover 😉
