The Crime Writers’ Association Daggers have been synonymous with quality crime writing for over fifty years, so we’re always excited to see who’s made the longlists for the prestigious awards. Along with the Diamond Dagger – won this year by the brilliant Peter James – there are ten Dagger awards in total, each one addressing a different crime fiction subgenre or format.
