Who’s Who in And Then There Were None

Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None is the bestselling crime novel of all time and was recently voted the world’s favourite Christie. This Christmas, for the first time, it will air as a lavish adaptation on BBC One.

Brilliantly plotted, And Then There Were None sees ten strangers drawn away from their normal lives to an isolated island off the Devon coast. But as the mismatched group waits for the arrival of their hosts – the improbably named Mr and Mrs U.N. Owen – the weather sours and they find themselves cut off from civilisation. Very soon, the guests, each struggling with their conscience, begin to die one by one, according to the rules of the nursery rhyme ‘Ten Little Soldier Boys’ – a rhyme which hangs in every room of the house and ends with the most terrifying words of all: ‘…and then there were none.’

Brilliant serialisation. Happy it did not follow the film of the 60’s (?) where we did not get left with none, the two lovebirds escaped. It has to be true to the book or it wastes the whole story.
Very bleak, dark and paranoic. No happy endings here.

    SPOILER ALERT!!!
Why does the (only) eye candy have to disappear so early? Very disappointing.

I will be watching I cant wait these are my fav crime drama something very cosy about them amidst all the murders.
