Sherlock Series 3 Teaser Revealed

Sherlock, the BBC’s adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective Sherlock Holmes has amassed an army of fans. Bringing the series up to date with quirky and compelling Benedict Cumberbatch as the lead, the end of series two saw Sherlock Holmes plunge to his supposed death in the episode The Reichenbach Fall.

The BBC have released a short teaser trailer announcing the series will return and featuring all the main characters: Sherlock, Watson, Mrs Hudson, Mycroft and Lestrade. Twenty-five seconds worth of trailer would never be enough to satisfy Sherlock’s legion of fans, and it has unleashed a storm of questions. Watch for yourself and let us know what you think!

Questions abound – how much time has passed? Why is Lestrade is a dark alley? Who is the woman in the white coat? And most importantly – what is that thing growing on Watson’s face? I think we’ll have to be patient on this one (and analyse the trailer again and again!)

Series 3 will consist of three, ninety minute episodes and currently has no air date.
